How to configure UAC settings?

Q.63 How to configure UAC settings?

1.    Open the Control Panel (icons view), and click on the User Accounts icon.
o   The easiest way to get to this screen is by either moving the cursor to the bottom left hand side of the screen and right clicking on the start button displayed or by pressing the win+x keys together and then choosing Control Panel from the menu that appears.

2.    Click on the link to Change User Account Control settings.

3.    If a UAC prompt pops up, then click on Yes.

4.    Click on the slider and move it up or down to the setting you want and click on OK.

5.    If prompted by UAC, then click on Yes.


6.    When finished, you can close the User Accounts window.
